                       DETAILS OF SELF CATERING HOLIDAY HOMES IN POOLE DORSET     

We have two self catering holiday homes located in Poole’s Baiter Park within the Poole Harbourside area. Both houses have 2 bedrooms and sleep 4/5. One house is situated in a Taverner Close and the other is opposite in Colborne Close of Newfoundland Drive  (see Map). 

As our two self catering houses are so close to each other, you could book both houses for a party of 6-9 people.

Our self catering holiday houses are available to let for short term rental, as a holiday self catering let or a short term tenancy or company let during the winter.

Both houses have been previously awarded a 4 STAR rating by the Quality In Tourism board.

Internet Broadband can be provided at small additional cost. A mobile dongle will be provided providing  speeds up to 3.6MB. Please order when completing the booking form.

Taverner Close Colborne Close

The lounge area has two 2-seater comfortable leather sofas. There is new Sony flat screen HD LCD colour TV with HD Digital Freeview receiver and DVD.

The lounge has a 3-seater and a 2-seater leather sofas. There is new flat Sony screen HD LCD colour TV with HD Digital Freeview receiver and DVD.

 

 

The door leads to a small sunny south facing conservatory with a table and 4 chairs.

The dining area has a glass top table and 4 leather chairs.

The dining area has a table and 4 chairs. You can also eat in the conservatory or outside

The kitchen has been recently refurbished and consists of  - Cooker, Dishwasher, Washer, Fridge, freezer, Microwave etc.

Heating is by gas boiler with warm air.

The double room has a comfortable pocket spring 4'6 double bed plus built in wardrobe with drawers.The twin room has two 3ft single pocket spring beds and a small cupboard and set of drawers

The double room has a comfortable pocket spring 4'6 double bed plus wardrobe with drawers below.The twin room has two 3ft pocket spring beds and a large mirror door wardrobe with drawers inside.

The bathroom has a bath, with electric booster shower over, plus WC and wash basin.

Out the back of Taverner Close, there is a south facing courtyard where you can park your car and small patio area with table and chairs and a BBQ . In addition to the private parking space there is  a number of visitor spaces.

There is a small seating area outside the conservatory.

There is a reserved Parking space plus a number of visitor spaces.

A Z-bed or additional mattress can be provided on request for a additional child.

Both houses are furnished to a high standard.

Both self catering holiday houses in Poole are a very short walk from Poole Quay with all its restaurants and bars and a short drive or bus journey to the many Poole and Bournemouth beaches.

Our self catering holiday homes are an ideal retreat for young or older couples as well as family’s. See the Local Attractions page above for a list of some of thing to do.

There is a public launching ramp very close by.

There are many beaches a short drive away. The beaches include the award winning Sandbanks beach, Canford Cliffs and Branksome Chine all of which are a short drive away. Bournemouth resort with its blue flag beaches and plenty of attractions and facilities is 10 minutes drive away. The unspoilt beaches at Studland can be accessed by the Sandbanks chain link ferry.

The Poole harbour with views of Brownsea Island and Poole Park with its large lake is just yards away. Poole Park has many attractions including miniature railway or the model racing yachts. There is a bowling green, where you can sit and watch a match or if you fancy golf you can try your hand a crazy golf or mini pitch and putt. There is a large play area for children with all the usual slides and swings etc, all in a safe area. If you are feeling energetic you could always hire one of the tennis courts for a game !
