Statement for our houses in Taverner Close and Colborne Close
Introduction
Our self-catering house occupies both the ground floor and 1st floor. We have tried to provide as much information as
possible in this statement, if you have any queries please do call. We look forward to welcoming you.

stop is 100 metres from the entrance. Buses
go from here into Poole town centre (only one stop away so you can walk it) and stops at

The nearest train
station (Poole) is 0.5 miles away; there are taxis at the station
Tesco and Asda
deliver groceries and can be ordered on the Internet.

Arrival,
Car Parking Facilities and access to the house
Taverner Close
There is allocated parking at the back of the house in the private court yard and
several guest parking spaces at the front of the house (20 metres from the front door).
The parking in the courtyard is little tight near the posts and there is one step up of
20cm to the house level, the back door then as a frame about 10cm high to step over. The
back door has an opening of 75cm. If you need plenty of room getting out of your car, then
it may be preferable to park at the front where there is always spare guests spaces.
Colborne Close
There is allocated parking in space 30
in Colborne Close. There is also 3 visitors spaces in Colborne Close, (unmarked with any
numbers).
The
Houses:
Colborne Close was previously occupied
by a person with some disability and has some additional handles and rails plus a shower
cubicle rather than a bath.
Colborne Close
has a small porch (129cm by 115cm) to the front door opening inwards with handles either
side of the front door. There s a small step up to the front door. The entrance at the
front of the house has 1 step 12cm and the door frame is 8cm high to step over The
door opening is 75cm wide.
In Taverner

Doors open
inwards to a short corridor that then opens into the main open plan lounge and dinning
area.
Ground Floor
The ground
floor of both houses is all flat with laminate flooring and consists of the Lounge,
Dinning area and Kitchen.
Fire alarms
are located downstairs and upstairs.
The Dining
table in Taverner Close is round with a glass top. Chairs are light weight with no arms.
The dining
table in Colborne Close is rectangular and is wood effect.
In Taverner
Close there two two-seater leather sofas; in Colborne Close there is a two seater leather
sofa and a three seater leather sofa.

Freeview, LCD Flat screen HD TV provided with remote control (also available are
DVD)
Upstairs
The bedrooms
and bathroom are upstairs with short pile carpets.
The width of
the stairs is 80cm. Colborne Close has hand rails both sides of the stairs.

There is no separate laundry room but there is a standard size washer machine, which is
front loading in the kitchen.

Conservatory in Colborne
A small conservatory wit small round table and 4 chairs. Although
room is tight, table and chairs are very light and can e put outside to provide more
space. Door from lounge area to conservatory is 80cm wide. Drop to outside courtyard is
65cm with 2 small steps down.
Courtyards
In Taverner there is a small courtyard with
sitting area and step down 25cm to wider area which is the official parking area.
In Colborne Close there is a very small court yard all one level.
Additional Information
Sainsbury is a 10 minute walk. The main town centre is a 10 minute walk.

Disabled Parking Facilities
To aid disabled drivers in Poole there is a Shopmobility Centre
within the Dolphin Shopping Centre Car Park. An undercover car park in Serpentine
Lane is also available specifically for Blue Badge holders and limited disabled parking is
available on the Quay. There are also local restrictions in force and you should contact Transportation Services for
further information.
